The Hempstead Harbour Club is accepting applications for Sailing Instructors in its Junior Sailing Program. The program is in session Monday through Thursday with instructors working a minimum of 8-hours per day. All positions have competitive salaries based on experience. Signing bonus provided.

The Junior Sailing Program has a fleet of Optis, RS Fevas, Lasers, and Club 420s. Sailors in the program range in age from 8 to 15 years old, from beginner to experienced. We emphasize adventure sailing along with opportunities to develop racing skills and participate in local regattas.

Successful applicants will be experienced sailors, who are motivated, hard-working, reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work well with others. They should be excellent communicators and have the skills to execute fun lesson plans and maintain safe practices.

All candidates must have U.S. Sailing Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate, US Powerboating Safe Powerboat Handling Certification, and current First Aid and CPR.
