Welcome to the Hempstead Harbour Club website. This will be the 123rd Commissioning of the Hempstead Harbour Club.

Early days at the Club focused around swimming and boating, currently HHC has one of the largest fleets of members’ boat on Long Island Sound. In 2010 the Club was granted Landmark status by the City of Glen Cove. Today HHC stands as the only Club house to be built out over the beautiful waters of Long Island Sound. Among the many activities our members enjoy is our Wednesday Night racing series which is open to the entire harbor. Our regatta series and our Junior Sailing program are extremely popular with sailors of all ages. Our early founders’ do-it-yourself philosophy continues today and is evident in the spirit of our members.
